Rules: Changes for the 2025-2026 Season

Only one rule has been revised for this season:

'A.N. OTHER' PLAYERS

Following the introduction of the 'AN OTHER' rule for league games last season, the wording has been modified for this season. AN OTHER allows a team with only 7 or 8 players to nominate players to play again to make up the numbers. See Rule 10.

Changes:

AN OTHER players must take part on the last leg. (The players original go can be on any leg).

The AN OTHER players must be decided before the start of the game, and their names added to the board. The AN OTHER player cannot be changed once the games starts, even if that player leaves early.

The scorecard should be marked with an Asterix (*) for all AN OTHER players.

As previously, AN OTHER scores count towards the team score for that game, but do not get counted for that players individual averages or 50 Club listings.

The website tracks all scores recorded by AN OTHER entries. This information is shared with the League Chairman. Data shows the number of occurrences AN OTHER is used and their scores.
